Artists. After a couple of phonecalls to artists, it seems theres a bit of a mis-understanding with regards to signing up as a member of the co-op now.... You do NOT need to be ready to exhibit now. There are quite a few artists, photographers and sculptors that are ready, and they will exhibit for the first 8 weeks. Then we will do a rotation of art for the following 8 weeks. You can let us know when you have enough pieces together to exhibit. Theres no pressure to exhibit! So please, sign your membership forms and get them through to us. The reason we are pushing members now is because we would like to auction off as many of our members pieces as possible on opening night. One piece. The funds raised from our opening night auction will hopefully pay for Phase 2s renovations. And each members monthly contribution of R50.00 will go towards covering part of our monthly overheads. We need all artists to be behind this project in order for it to succeed.
