As 2014 comes to an end Im just reflecting on how lucky I am. Im surrounded by inspiration from an incredibly talented bunch of people. I count among my friends writers, poets, artists, film-makers, comedians, event managers, nurses, professors, doctors (of both kinds), bloggers, actors, models, engineers, pharmacists, chefs, paramedics, lawyers, philosophers, journalists, plumbers, electricians, architects, politicians and of course, a whole range of sustainability, environmental and biodiversity leaders. Over the years Ive learned from each and every one of you and for that Im grateful. My world is diverse, varied and always interesting and challenging and I am constantly overwhelmed by the generosity, knowledge and skills of everyone around me. I am blessed and grateful and I look forward to 2015 with relish and excitement as literally from day one new things are afoot. Roll on year of change, I welcome you with open arms and wish everyone an incredible New Year full of love, friendship, joy and hope and may all the difficult times come with support to help you overcome them.
