As Christians we do not chase people after they know the truth, Jesus moved away from people who were after His healing and not His teaching. That is why He will give them to their own desires if they are not willing to change once they have tasted and seen His glory. But with this needs wisdom and truth only which the Holy Spirit provides. The parable of the lost sheep is someone who is lost and doesnt know his way and requires a Shepherd to direct his way on the right path. That path is in Christ. No one can snatch His children from Him but us only letting go.
