As Christians, were constantly under the microscope to the unbelievers, who are always looking for the right excuse not to follow our beliefs, and pass that excuse on to their friends, and to others in the workplace, etc.. As I read down my newsfeed, it comes up occasionally that some (a very small few) that profess Christianity, will sometimes use, share, or even promote profanity. As Christians, we really have to choose, speak, and share the right words in our posting, comments, sharing, and in conversation. That doesnt so much mean that EVERYTHING has to be Scripture related, or direct quotes from the Bible, but your words should be wholesome, and if its something you wouldnt want your children, or grandchildren repeating, well ... Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, (Jesus talking) That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37: For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. 11: Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Friends, if were Christian, were conformed to His image, His likeness and His mind. Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. Thats all for now, but I hope this has been a blessing to someone, I know it helped me. I love you all, have a blessed day.
