As He embraced the cross, grace was released. Our Lord and Savior - TopicsExpress

As He embraced the cross, grace was released. Our Lord and Savior saw all of fallen creation being laid at the Fathers feet; He wept and interceded with His own life; willing to die for you and me. Oh to receive such amazing grace. The pain of our dark sin crushing His heart, cried out with a loud voice that shook the very foundations of the earth. Arms stretched wide, bloody feet and hands nailed to the cross; with little breath left in Him “… Jesus prayed, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34a). And He released His last breath; the very breath that the Father had given His beloved son was laid down for you and me. And His body was placed in a tomb of death UNTIL…. eternal life could be taken back by its rightful owner Christ Jesus, the second Adam, the Son of the Living God! He forced Satan’s hand and took back the keys to eternal life for all who would receive Him as Lord and Savior! God Himself had to do it…..no man was able……NO MAN is able to live eternally without HIM! Oh, amazing grace how sweet the sound… I LOVE YOU this much! The seed of God was sent down from Heaven, was sin-free, was broken, and wounded because of sin. At Salvation mangled sin is gathered and swept into the pit of hell with the cross of His amazing grace. And the seed of righteousness by Christ Jesus is raised to new life in God….eternal! A seed within a seed to life He gives meaning capturing the heart and bringing it into being. setting the captive free, more so from ones self; having heard through obedience escaping the pit of hell. Oh Amazing grace, how sweet the sound; the name above ALL names: Jesus Christ, in whom amazing grace is found! “He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.” (Matt. 13:37-38)
