As I am working on preparation for the Short Track SuperNationals this weekend, I cant stress how much I owe to Pat and Janet Jordan. Pat and Janet took the $35,000 chance on a kid who was writing in Area Auto Racing News to put on a race at their Afton Speedway, not just any race, a race against Super DIRT Week on the calendar no less. That was 2006. The rest is history. If not for Pat and Janet, there would be no Short Track SuperNationals nor would any of the other doors have opened for me in the sport. Very cool is the fact that we return to the track where the SuperNationals started this weekend and Pat will be there racing in his No. 25 Crate Sportsman!
