As I come before the LORD this morning, my thoughts turn to a conversation I had with a non-believer in Jesus Christ just yesterday. For any person to put their faith and trust in the LORD JESUS CHRIST, God must intervene and send His Holy Spirit to open their spiritual eyes, ears and heart, and to give them the gift of faith to believe that God Almighty, the Creator and Sustainer of all things, is the One True, Living God, and that God sent His One and Only Son to live a perfect, sinless life and to die in our place on a cross for our sin, which is everything contrary to the will of God in our lives, and that God through His power raised Jesus Christ from the dead and that Jesus is now seated at the right hand of God, our Heavenly Father; without God drawing anyone to Himself, and sending His Spirit to convict of sin and the need for Jesus as their LORD and Savior, they will not confess Jesus as LORD. Jesus says in John 6:44, No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. GOD, THE FATHER, I pray that You will do what only YOU can do in the lives of those who do not know YOU as their personal LORD and SAVIOR! The Word of the LORD spoken by the prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 10:10-16, But the LORD is the true God; He is the living God, the eternal King. When He is angry, the earth trembles; the nations cannot endure His wrath.Tell them this: These gods, who did not make the heavens and the earth, will perish from the earth and from under the heavens. But God made the earth by His power; He founded the world by His wisdom and stretched out the heavens by His understanding. When He thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from His storehouses. Everyone is senseless and without knowledge; every goldsmith is shamed by his idols. His images are fraud; they have no breath in them. They are worthless, the objects of mockery; when their judgement comes, they will perish. He who is the Portion of Jacob is not like this, for He is the Maker of all things, including Israel, the tribe of His inheritance - the Lord Almighty is His name. How do I know that the God I serve is the One True Living God, my thoughts turn to the hymn, He Lives!? He lives within my heart! How do I know that Jesus Christ is the only way? Because of the very Spirit of God that lives within my heart, I believe the Word of God, and I believe what Jesus Christ says in John 14:6, I AM the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you dont know Jesus Christ today as your personal Lord and Savior, I encourage you to take a hard look at Jesus Christ! Study His life and His teachings found in the Holy Bible! I pray God will draw you to Himself as you seek to learn who His Son Jesus Christ is!
