As I flip through my past experiences in the different jobs that I - TopicsExpress

As I flip through my past experiences in the different jobs that I was in, in different places, I found many lacked honesty and integrity to do what their job profile expected of them. They lacked motivation to energise themselves to generate expected output. Each organisation/community/society/....has maintained a system to grade the individual to make him/her motivated to work. Each works just enough to prove that s/he is meeting all the pre-requisites to be deserving to a certain level of expectations. In the bargain we learn to influence our seniors and find shelter in their confidence. We lack the spirit to face ourselves, hence cant face the truth. Once we catch the tail of the tiger (escape, lethargy, procrastination, incompetence, fear of failure, struggle to maintaining self-image....); we cant LET GO OFF THE TAIL! :( Be it a senior or junior in the level of hierarchy; each running, holding the tail to get lifted to that point where s/he will be noticed and appreciated. Indeed a sad story!! We have all failed so miserably to be Honest to ourselves. :( But we expect a lot from our children by boasting about values and principles in life; stating our huge expectations from them! :( Why did we lack motivation? Why have we lost it? How do we regain it? This I learnt from couple of my senior colleagues(my mentors today) who never got recognised by their seniors; I found them falling short of boasting about themselves and complaining! :( Self-Motivation is a permanent remedy else one can remain dependent on others and let the blame game continue. The day we take ONUS of our RESPONSIBILITIES we will not need any MOTIVATION to work!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) Why not work for the sake of work and be an INSPIRATION to the world!!! PS: Whatever we see today is the RESULT of our PAST. What we do today will be the story we make TOMORROW! :)
