As I get older, I believe time moves much faster. How many of you would agree with me? For a long time, I always thought I had to get somewhere before I could do anything...like I was a on perpetual moving train that would take me somewhere, and then I could do what I had always wanted to do or should do. Maybe, we when are young, we believe that time will wait for us and that we really shouldnt have to hurry. I dont think we fully understand the concept of time. When we are 20, we tell ourselves that we (hopefully have 60) years to get everything done that we want to and that sounds like a long time. And then, when we turn 40, we remind ourselves that we just lost 20 years in a blink of a an eye and now only have 40 years to get done what we want to get done. We look back at those last 20 years and think to ourselves that we wasted so much time and have nothing to show for it. Sometimes, I feel that way so I get in hurry up & get things done now mode. But the truth is that none of us are promised those extra 40 years -- we are not even guaranteed tomorrow. Time passes and days go by -- as much as we want some of it to stand still so that we could hold onto those precious things -- so we have two choices. We can keep thinking we still have time to do what we want or we can start living right now. Either way, the minutes will still tick away. You choose. #DaysGoBy #Time
