As I have been saying all along, music and singing is the key to connect if everything else is gone. Singing to them will still give them the feeling of love.. you know that warm fuzzy feeling and yes sometimes you can suddenly get them to say something which would normally have been just unrecognizable because they have something warm and fuzzy to focus on where otherwise their brain would not even make a connection anymore. I have seen this happen more then once... and it moves me to tears when I suddenly bring them out into the light where things make sense to them, even if short lived. I love my job!!!
