As I have done each day since we went our wonderful anniversary cruise I again this morning pondered our retirement years. Will we return to Mt. Vernon, home, or go to eastern Washington, will we move to Florida to enjoy the warmth and sunshine year round. Close to many of Edds beloved cruises and my siblings. But what of my babies here, long time friends, family. So many things to consider, so much to explore. Then my mind shifts, do I spend this much time considering my eternal home. Do I spend hours getting to know all I need to know to be familiar with that move, with that change in my future. Am as I worried about who will be with me, or who will be far away. Am I taking all the steps necessary to insure a retirement I will enjoy. Funny how it puts it all into perspective. As I listen to my deaf sons alarm go off for the second time blaring throughout the house (go figure) it reminds me that time is short, the world is crying - blaring if you will - for attention. Seeking, seeking for many not knowing what it is they are looking for. We with the answer need to satisfy those questions. We need to insure our loved ones are with us in retirement.
