As I know have listened to Max and Ruby for 5 straight weeks in the car I have come up with a theory...... When Ruby was younger something happened to her parents so her Grandmother got custody of her and she moved in with Grandma. While running around the town willy nilly with no supervision Ruby got pregnant. Her Grandma said she will love her and her child still but she has to get her own place. So Ruby bought a house on the same street so she can still be close. She had her baby and named him Max, but they play it off as bother and sister so no one judges them. Now here is the clincher...the father is Rodger. Why else would a young boy need to work in his fathers grocery store. Why else would this young boy come over to teacher Max how to play catch and how to play football. We all know Ruby has a thing for Rodger anyways. But it didnt work out for the 2 well, because what is comes down to is that Ruby is a b***h, and that is to put it nicely :)
