As I look back on a challenging baseball season from a coaches - TopicsExpress

As I look back on a challenging baseball season from a coaches standpoint. I must say that the game became more than runs and outs for me. You see I love Jesus Christ more than words could explain. He is my hero and more importantly my savior! Durning this past season I was challenged and even attacked for my faith, attacked for wanting to have prayer before each game. At times I found my self in disbelief of these circumstances. Yet I never lost sight of the cross! Through these struggles I realized most how much God really does love us. He gave me the strength to endure the criticism. Through him I realized that the wins and losses are not what matters. It was the fellowship with the 12 amazing young men and coaches. It was the charity that Tyler Jackson assistant coach started for Camryn that changed our teams direction. You see when I started this season I had big dreams of being the best 10yr old team. What I found out was that God had a different direction for our team. It was a direction of growth as baseball players and becoming you men paying it forward! So I would just like to publicly thank you Lord for putting me outside my comfort zone. Because you know thats the only way I grow. To all those who doubted me or was against me because of my faith. Well I will pray for you and more importantly I thank you because the cross just keeps getting bigger!
