As I look back on this last week, and losing my father in a car accident it occurs to me I should share something with all of you. My father and I were in a good place, and I have no unfinished business with him. I loved him and he loved me. I know this because he told me. He also told me he was proud of me and I told him that I loved him, and that I appreciated him, and that feels good. And so my point is this: We never know when our last moments will be with somebody so make it count. Say the things that need to be said, forgive if you need to (and we always need to), and then get on to the business of loving.
