As I mentioned last week the Hubbard and Company Office / Workshop and Showroom was originally a Chevrolet Car Dealership. I thought that we needed some old vehicles out front to set off the restored store front. My first purchase was a 1948 Chev Maple Leaf. The maple Leaf was a Chevrolet manufactured for the Canadian market. This truck was found north of Osgood, Ontario. We have lifted it off the original running gear and placed it onto a more recent 1 ton. The truck could now be driven daily. I have a great man, Arvin Riskie who has been instrumental is restoring these vehicles. Arvin can do it all. He welds, does bodywork and is a mechanic. These trucks are real eye catchers!
