As I read the predictably childish responses to FairShare by members of the pro sinners, I ask myself: how stupid do they think voters are? How desperate are they to take every cent they can, and spend a million dollars to convince us they are keeping us strong? We have no idea how much money these teams make, yet they keep crying that a facility fee would drive off business. But imagine: The Q actually imposes their own private facility fee...and they keep every cent. None goes toward the facility whatsoever, yet they are charging millions and sharing none. The Fair Share facility fee says this: We in Cuyahoga County are still struggling to pay for building the venues in the first place. Would it kill any ticket buyer to share in the cost of maintenance? Are the teams so dreadful that $3.25 would force fans to stay home??? The same fans who gladly pay $8 for a beer?!!! And to the people running the Q: How can you be for a facility fee, implement a facility fee, pocket a facility fee, and then tell me how unacceptable a facility fee is????
