As I read through the headlines every morning which portray a suffering and conflicted World- I cant help but think how blessed we are to live American. Often times, this blessing is taken for granted. We get up each morning, turn the key and head into work. Grind through the day and keep our eyes on the clock waiting for 5:00 p.m. Our financial obligations and personal conflicts weigh heavy on our minds and can cause great stress. Meanwhile, across the Atlantic- a mother just witnessed her children blown to pieces in front of her eyes. A child watches their family disappear in a cloud of smoke. Their grief is unimaginable to the vast majority of us. These headlines should provide us all with great perspective on how blessed we are to live in this country. Every FREE moment spent in our repetitious routines is a blessing which should be acknowledged and greatly appreciated.
