As I reflect on 2014, I cant begin to express how blessed I am. The beginning of the year started off with a contract with the Venice Theatre in Florida. Two months later on closing night of the show, I found out about my contract with Norwegian Dawn. Throughout the process of rehearsals in Tampa and my time on the ship was a surreal experience for me. I was living my dream as a professional dancer getting paid to live out my passion...and I got to do this in the most beautiful places on earth. My cast aka the Dream Team held our position as number one in entertainment almost the whole time I was on the ship. Even though sometimes it wasnt the easiest, my cast pushed me and challenged me to always be the best I could be and for that I am forever grateful. Meeting so many amazing people was incredible but I am forever grateful for my friendship with Season Joy Saulet, Darren Lorenzo, Peter Cornelia Lenny Auguste and Nick Lentocha. Upon my return home, I reconnected with some amazing friends and made great new ones. I also went right back to doing what I love; teaching. Another highlight was choreographing for a studio I dreamed about, Dance Attitudes of NJ. To say 2014 felt like a dream is an understatement. If 2015 treats me half as well as this past year, I can honestly say I am the lucky person in the world. Here is to reaching further than I ever thought possible and realizing dreams do come true.
