As I sit here and hold my new baby, I realize how blessed we are. Ive never had to face someone beheading my children. Ive never been told that if I believe in God, I will be tortured and killed. But that doesnt mean it cant happen to us. Are we prepared to defend our faith to the death? Do we have that kind of courage? Have we taught our children that our belief in God is worth dying for? Would you boldly die a martyr? If there was ever a time to get serious about your faith, it is now. If there was ever a time to get on your knees and pray for those being persecuted, it is NOW. It is also time to fervently pray for our President and the other leaders of our country as they sort through some very difficult decisions that must be made. We will all do better if we stop the blame game and call upon the Most High.
