As I sit here and reflect on 2014 Im thinking about the ups and downs of the year. We have had a lot of changes and a lot of sorrow. This year we struggled personally. Adam moving away was very difficult for me. I had to get people out of my life that continued to hurt me. We had to put my mother in law in the nursing home which was a difficult decision for Allen, but it is the right decision. We had to work diligently to get her Medicaid approved, we almost gave up. We had to clean out her house and move everything into storage. This was a task that was overwhelming and way beyond stressful, but Allen and I did it without any help. We had to do very costly repairs on our house including a new very expensive heating and air unit. Good: we had an amazing trip to the west coast and got to reconnect with so many family members it was the best vacation we have ever took. We also bought a new boat this year and look forward to a wonderful summer 2015. We plan to have lots of family and friends visit Arkansas this summer. We had our health. My resolution this year is to continue contact with all of my distant relatives, continue my journey with our church and to meet new friends that enrich our lives. Happy New Year everyone!!! I know this one will be better.
