As I sit here and reflect on the last 3 heartfelt days I have spent with what has become my second family.. Yes they adopted me as one of their own. I am so blessed to have them in my life. I think about how wonderful and welcoming the entire Shellenberger family is. They welcome everyone they meet. I remember the first time I walked through the door of Mr. Shellenbergers house and since day one the entire family made me feel at home. I could have been purple with pink dots and green hair and they still made me feel welcomed. But this is who they are!! An AMAZING family. You could see and feel the love from them. Ross and as I lovingly call Lois (Mom) brought there 3 beautiful girls(Julie, Robin, and Nikki) to be the same way. Accept and care about everyone. And now Moms themselves have taught there children to be as loving and caring to everyone as well. I am so incredibly blessed to have known you and been able to be in my adopted family for over 30 years. I raise a Schnapps to you Ross!! Thank you for all the wonderful memories and for allowing me to part of such an incredible family.
