As I sit here and think of what 5 years ago tonight meant and what 5 years ago tomorrow means it amazing how life can change from literally night and day. 5 years ago me and my sis Dawn Lunsford put our dad to bed and said good night. We were so sure that the next day it would be like any other Saturday with him, but that was not the case! He died that morning in his sleep very peacefully. He died the way he wanted in his own bed,in his own home, and he wasnt alone. He did not raise me or any of my sisters and brothers and some may never understand why I even bothered to take care of him. He was who he was and no one was ever going to change that. He loved us all in his own way whether he knew us all or not. I know things happen for a reason so I wont go into all the ups and downs. I loved him for who he was and I chose not to hate him for what he wasnt. Life is so short. You never know what tomorrow will bring. So love and love deeply!! RIP Dad!! Love you to the moon and back!!
