As I sit here at home, Im counting my blessings, in my lifetime, Ive learned many lessons, they brought me here to this moment, I still need direction, a little protection, from the cold world around me, some of the things, that I see, hard to swallow, so hard to believe, but I move on anyway, I cant look back, I need a moment to collect my thoughts, before I react, Ive been stepped on, in the worst kind of ways, but Ive learned completely, how I must change, my mind was a train wreck, but now rearranged, an angel came to me, Im no longer insane, her touch revived me, I now remember who I am, I remember my name, there is no blame for the past, it is gone now, and Ill never look back. © 2014 Words By Jeff Oliver
