As I sit on my patio reading me Bible, I realize more than ever how much God loves me. I know why He blessed us w/senses. It is to relate to Him. I hear Him in the birds song; birds that He created for me. I feel Him in the cool gentle morning breeze; breeze that He makes. I see Him in the beautiful sky. I smell Him in the clean fresh air. I feel His touch in my heart as I am calmed and encouraged by His word. He is surrounding me right now. Through my senses I feel Him. He is my father. He loves me more than my earthly father did. His word is love letters He wrote to me! He knows my deepest thoughts, yearnings, needs, desires. He knows my hurts, fears, and anxious thoughts. He made me. He has planned out my life, even before I was born. It is my responsibility to be still and wait and listen for Him. He yearns for that. If I am still and focus on Him, His peace will shine through and enable me to overcome whatever this perishing world has that may trip me up today. And it will trip me up. It trips me up every time I take my eyes off Him. But, Im learning to recognize it sooner now and then I place my focus back on Him and avoid unnecessary struggles. He does the hard part. All I have to do is wait on Him, listen and watch for His instruction. Wait. Listen. Watch. I have the easy part so why do I always try to fill my day w/stuff? Everything will fall in place if I get my priorities in order. Spending time w/Him is#1. Spending time w/Him will open my eyes to what He has planned for me. Spending time with Him 1st thing in the morning will equip me for the day ahead. He is amazing. He never ceases to amaze me. Its all so simple. I wish simplicity for you today. And that is the message I got from God today! BAM!
