As I sit on my patio with my son singing This is the Day to him, I suddenly become overwhelmed with the emotions I have felt off an on since I learned that Jenni Kufahl went to be with Jesus after a lengthy battle with cancer on Sunday. Seven children have lost a mother, a man has lost his wife, parents a daughter, siblings a sister, women have lost their best friend and the world has lost a crusader for Christ. BUT, this day (just like Sunday) is a day that the Lord hath made! I will rejoice for each day is a GIFT and not a guarantee. I will rejoice that Jenni is with her Savior and in her life she pointed people to Him and in her death she will do the same through the legacy she has left. Please join me in lifting up the Kufahl/Merrell family and ask for comfort in this heartbreaking time.
