As I stopped and reflect I thank you Jesus for sparing my life. Yesterday morning I had a near death experience. A very heavy flying metal pipe hit the windshield of my hummer on I-295. I saw the pipe in slow motion coming towards me so to speak. I tried to vear in the left lane but a car was beside me; so I said oh shhh..threw up my left arm and ducked my head when it impacted. Glass was everywhere on me, the dash and passenger seat. When the state troopers arrived we examined how blessed I was. All the major glass landed on the left arm of my fleece jacket, in my lap on my patrol cap. Only small fragments hit my face and lips. Thank GOD for quick reaction. It was a WAKE UP call for me. If my life would have ended; I wasnt ready with a clear slate. I was harboring anger and bitterness towards someone I had been involved with because of what they did a week earlier. I had not forgiven him or myself for allowing things to happen the way they did. I say all this to say: let it go. Forgive those who wrong you...for we know not the hour or second when death lingers! How can I ask GOD to forgive me when I had not forgiven him. So I reached out apologize for the anger and harsh words I used despite of his actions.. Now,.I can keep it moving...so if a fatal freak accident: or natural cause of death should occur! I am spiritually READY to meet my LORD. IJS
