As I studied my Bible this morning, I looked at 2 Kings 7. The Word of the Lord came to Elisha speaking of extremely high inflation/cost of living. The Syrian Army had set up camp around the city and was set to attack and the people were starving and the cost of food was unbelievable. Elisha prophesied to the Gate Keeper that in the following day, the prices of food would drop dramatically the following day and the people could eat. The man not believing questioned if God could open up the windows of heaven. Elisha told him emphatically that it would be so but that he would not partake of it. When the Syrian Army fled during the night after hearing the noise as of a great army coming down on them in the night, they were so frightened the left all of their provisions including their money. Read the rest of the story so that you can see that the Lord provided for Israel in a Miraculous way and the man who doubted the Prophet of God, was trampled to death as the people rushed out of the Gate to partake of the outpouring of Gods provision. Let us not doubt that God is our Provider and our Source, lest we be trampled at the Gate while others feast on the Provision of the Lord. GOD WILL MAKE A WAY WHERE THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY. I hope this blesses someone today as much as it did me. GLORY TO GOD WHO IS RICH IN MERCY AND MAY HIS BOUNTY BE UNTO YOU THIS DAY. Amen.
