As I think about the snow that we are expecting I think about home. When it snowed mom would cook a big pot of vegetable and beef soup. She would prepare so much that we literally ate soup for weeks until I made it all disappear...lol. Dad would keep a fire in the fireplace downstairs in the family room where we would all gather together and have movie night. When dad was paying attention to the movie, I would sneak away to find things to toss into the fire. Dad would always say boy you throwing stuff in that fireplace again? lol. I miss those moments with my family. Just wanted to share.....
