As I transect this landscape carved by the rashness of our forefathers, it is easy to view ourselves as insignificant ants, trapped in our minds contempt to fulfill the necessary day to day tasks in which we define our lives. It is in our nature to care, yet we are apt to withdrawal and alienate ourselves from those to whom we hold dear when faced with challenges and strife, leaving many to walk astray in a lonesome wilderness. Yet there live individuals blessed with a radiant light no different then the light that illuminates the cosmos, filling nothingness with somethingness, giving those seemingly insignificant ants sight and understating in that there turmoils a are not held in vain. For these individuals enlighten the ants to see that they are a small part of a larger fauna, where the individuals quest of fulfillment is collective and that individual actions may never be recognized, that these unrecognized actions serve as pillars to our resilience to persist, giving rise to a forest that we call existence. The individual ant does not see that its toils give breath to the earth, nourishing the green canopies that grace the sky. They only see. I thank those people that see with more then their eyes, heart and minds. Have a wonderful day.
