As I try to close down for the night I could not help but reflect - TopicsExpress

As I try to close down for the night I could not help but reflect on the events of the day. Even though the enemy tries to throw things at us to keep us from living in victory, God can turn those things around for his good. In the pouring down rain when I got into my jeep to get closer to the door for Elizabeth with her bad knee and it would not shift into gear, what I thought was going to be a major expense turned our to be just a minor delay. There were at least a dozen people, some from many years ago at that location. Some I had not seem in YEARS. Then all the response from the SOS that was sent out let me know just how much God was in control. He seen us at the point of our need. I had already lined up a vehicle to drive, contacted my State Farm Agent about roadside assistance, and was making plans on how to survive till the jeep could be repaired. Yes, I was seeing $$$$$ going out, and was about to hit the panic button. We even had a blanket and a golf umbrella provided to make the crawl under the jeep a little less abrasive. When Josh and Harry said the top was connected and it was off at the bottom I asked what we needed. I then told Josh that I had electrical ties in my glove box. Bear in mind, I had taken all my tools out of the jeep at the beginning of the week. Within a couple of minutes he had secured the connection, and it shift into gear better than it has in months. There again, the story began Friday night when I went to get my hair cut and they told me my person no longer worked there. Instead of taking a chance on someone new, I turned and walked out, so that is how I ended up in Spanish Fort to get my hair cut, visit with Elizabeth, and she and I went to have breakfast. Talking about God ordering your steps, had I been in Mobile, look what all I would have missed out on. Good night.
