As I walk my dog in the neighbourhood, a handsome little young black dog about 6-7 months old, who stays a few houses away across the road from my place, comes to greet us almost everyday in an excitement and nervousness of epic proportions. Rufus cant even do his business in peace without him staring wide-eyed and tail wagging nineteen-to-a dozen, inches away from his face. He is the only survivor of a litter of puppies who all died very young. Used to scream bloody murder if any dog so much as crossed his path from afar. Seems to have grown slightly more sure of himself, and managed to survive his skin infections and a very badly injured paw due to an accident some months back. This tirelessly affectionate, super-energetic and extremely nervous little thing could do with a home. In case any of you were planning to or wish to adopt a stray, please let me know. You will be adopted right back!
