As I was downstairs the basement Jade decided to surf over the Second Story banister( yes 3 flights ) ..too which I heard one heck of a bang clang smash thwap thump thud. I then promptly went to go see what the commotion was. Please note the one thing you shouldn’t do when your child falls down the stairs is scream, “OH MY G-D, OH MY G—D!!!, JADE FELL DOWN THE STAIRS!!! OH MY G—D!!! JADDEEE!!! After the mini heart attack my neuro nurse skills took over and Jade looking more stunned yet conscious let out a loud scream. I examined her neck ask her to move her arms and legs and then touched her feet and ask her if she can feel my touch to which she screamed my foot ohh my soccer foot. I determined that except for a few bumps and bruises Jade is fine but upon looking at the distance she fell and that I dont have X-ray vision eyes I then decide I should take her to the doctor for further examination. The DR. said chances are slim that Jade suffered a serious injury from falling down the stairs. The worst thing you could do in this situation is overreact which I did not do :) ok well kind of .. Now just to wait for the X-ray results to come in…ugg never a dull moment in the Unterschute household. Good luck Jade may your super sports body not be broken and geesh... what the ….sliding down the banister really !!!
