As I was reading my Bible I like the revelation I received on this verse. "And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men." Col. 3:23. The thought that came to my mind was the amount of people who worship for the "show" of it. They worship so people can "think" they are "all there" or as to say "look at me." I continued to think about the number of people I minister to who are intimidated to prophesy, cast out demons or public speak. They want to "appear" "all there" to man. This verse (as all of them) speaks truth! When we come to the realization that we are doing it "unto the Lord" we can get past the fear of man, what people think mentality and truly worship the Lord and minister without a performance mentality!
