As I was standing outside this morning, there was a sudden heightening of my senses. I could hear and feel the breeze blowing through the towering bamboo cluster next to me. A large yellow butterfly was drifting among the fuchsia flowers on the wall and I could almost hear the beating of its wings. It was like I was suspended in time for a moment. On the other side of the campus, I could hear the sound of the children laughing as if they were standing next to me. A small black hen with chicks was scratching the ground searching for something of interest to eat. Soft white clouds were slowly floating across the most blue sky that I have ever seen. It is in those moments when I have glimpse, as it were, looking through the glass darkly, of how great our GOD is. How He created these things for our pleasure. His LOVE for us is an everlasting love….not this worlds kind of love, that fades and often even fails…but a love that we cannot even begin to understand. The BIBLE says that Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of people the things which God has prepared for them that love Him.” I pray that you will experience His Great Love in your life today.
