As I watched the Hunger Games - The Mocking Jay part 1 last night - TopicsExpress

As I watched the Hunger Games - The Mocking Jay part 1 last night (pre-opening), I got this revelation. Katniss the main character is bold and strong yet so humble in regards to how important her role is in the war against good and evil. If she had it her way, she would run off and hide from all of it and take everyone she could with her, but stopping the twisted schemes of an evil government must prevail and she knows it. She hates that innocent people must die to stop the wickedness. Katniss understands that if the violent government isnt stopped, the games will continue and many more guiltless lives will continuously be lost whether they comply with the government or not. This reminds me of satan, his minions and hell. No matter what we do in attempt to be politically correct or protect someones feelings temporarily, it will still lead those whove given in to the demands of evil straight to the grave. Katniss loves with a nurturing, compassion and when others hurt, she hurts. Shes one person who courageously takes a stand against evil but she doesnt do it because someone is forcing her to, in fact, whenever someone makes an attempt to pressure her to do anything, she crawls in a shell and cant be all shes equipped to be. Her heroic and fearless attributes are moved by her genuine love for others. She knows the plans at the Capital are to steal, kill and destroy just like our adversary. Fighting for whats right is just in her. Its in her to the very core like Christ and His willingness to fulfill the Fathers purpose. As Christians we should take a stand against evil and vile. We should despise where its taking a fallen world and especially despise how deception is plaguing many who claim to be Christ-like or believers. There IS power in one and we should try to be more like Katniss in courage, truth and willingness to fight against the evil or better yet, BE more CHRIST-LIKE because it was His great sacrifice and redemptive power which redeems us and gives us strength to help others avoid eternal damnation. All it takes is an ounce of courage. Remember this, when you stand up for whats right, you better believe war will come but it is a necessity. Christ Himself didnt come to bring peace but a sword!! #STANDUPANDFIGHT
