As I work towards healing one of my greatest gifts was a pastor and his family who were willing to take me under their wing. I was toxic first walking into the church after all I had been through in my marriage and previous church. Thankfully they could see that I didnt want to be the way I was and gently help me see when I was lashing out. They have taught me many great things like dealing with others who are controlling, better parenting skills, and most of all how much God really does love even me. While I have been in counseling I needed someone to share life with me. I needed others to carry me for a time as I was too weak to carry myself. Do you have safe people like this in your life that you can trust everything with and they will help you grow in healthy ways? ~Esther
