As Ive been saying this will be a two part system. part one (the clipper) , which is moving across the Ohio Valley. This will slide toward the Mid Atlantic. It will drop a general 2-6 inches across Pennsylvania and areas north and west of DC. DC its self looks to see 0.5 to 1.5 inches by tomorrow morning. Then, energy from this system will feed into a coastal low which will develop explosively later tomorrow and tomorrow night. Winter storm advisories, watches, and warnings are up the Mid Atlantic. From the I-95 east (southern Baltimore to the Delmarva), Jersey shore, NYC up into New England will take a big hit. This storm will hit all the major cities in the Northeast, crippling snow for Philly, NYC and Boston with 12-24+ numbers, winds gusting 50-60 and gust of upwards of 70 mph across southeast Massachusetts... DC could see 4-12 inches..... Most of Pennsylvania is under winter weather advisories and watches. late Monday -Wednesday will make for difficult with nearly impossible Tuesday. This is a storm that could literally strand people for days. I expect major airline problems. So stock up and prepare.....
