As Miss-culture Scotland 2013/14 I would like to clarify the reason for my absence at tonights pageant run by Wobia. It was NOT due to my lack of appearance at Miss Charity and Peace, when wobia was fully aware in advanced that I was suffering from food poisoning, might I add. It was because I was told on 3 separate occasions that I would be on the judging panel to then be told (1 week prior to the event) that there had in fact been 5 judges chosen already. As you can imagine, I was extremely disappointed by this. I was also then told that I may get to help calling out results. This lack of uncertainty and preparation was not worth the risk to me and so Wobia was told I would not be attending. I was also asked to sing at the event. However being a professional singer, already in the public eye, I expect payment for my time and effort: its my job, how I earn a living. (Unless the money is going to charity.) So those of you that know me well/have worked with me, know that one thing I am NOT is an unreliable person. I strive to fulfil any promises I have made and thats how Ive always been and always will be. Peace and love. ❤️
