As Netanyahu and his silly demands about what kind of state of Israel the Palestinians should recognize---------demands that he knows will likely scuttle the peace process and his announcements of more settlements which are also designed to scuttle the peace process so that the oppressive Occupation may continue unabated, the human-justice campaign of BDS offers the real possibility of bringing genuine pressure to bear on Israeli politicians or else watch as the wider population suffer economic repercussions. Whats it going to be, Bibi?-----Concessions or economic repercussions? Take your pick--------the carrot or the stick. BDS is a movement based on the idea that all persons are created equal and should enjoy self-determination and equal rights. BDS is a non-violent campaign of human love, tough love, but love nonetheless. The BDS movement’s upward trajectory presents an alternative to the stagnant peace process... If successful on a larger scale, the movement could exert enough pressure on Israel... to give the Palestinians the political rights demanded in the BDS call.
