As Reported: January 26th, 1858 Village Record - Temperance Meetings It is proposed to hold a general MASS MEETING at Longwood, Chester county, Pa., on Seventh-day, the 30th inst., at 1 ½ P.M. A meeting will be held in the evening at Kennett Square, at 7 P.M. At Locust Grove, First-day, the 31st, at 2 P.M. At Centreville in the evening at 7 o’clock. Wm. Nicholson, of Philad’a, the Revs. Moore and Lowrie, and Wm. Whitehead of West Chester, are expected to participate in these meetings. The public are respectfully invited to attend.
