As a 10 year old..my friend that was 12 and I together while babysitting used a gun to defend ourselves..having said that guns arent for everyone..like people with poor impulse control or anxiety..etc..thats how misfires happen and how many families with guns and a teenager sneaking back into the house got a fight with thier child at the wrong end of a rifle? Or my personal favorite your neighbors target shooting..interrupting your peace in the pool. Bullets do at times go places other than your targets..and its just not peaceful hearing a bunch of rounds fired..its worse than mowing during a party..
