As a CFS volunteer, I do not wish to receive any monetary incentive for my commitment. I do not want my ESL reduced, nor any tax break for volunteering. As Tony Abbott said, we do this because we are committed to the community. All I want is that when my gear needs replacing, it is done in a timely manner. When the trucks break down or get damaged, they get fixed. When we are asked to respond, we have the resources available to continue the work we do.
