As a PS to this short film... Up until 1935 or so, it was illegal for Native Americans to speak their own languages in the United States. If they tried to teach them to their children, the children were taken away from them and sent to the nuns schools for proper indoctrination. Most white Americans have no idea how intolerant our country has been and continues to be. I this latest budget, the United States is once again breaking a treaty with our Native American nations be stealing their lands and giving them to mining companies. And the same Republicans fight immigrants as if the white men were always here... they figure most Americans are too obtuse to see what is happening... again!
