As a Vetran who did little. I would like to thank the greatest - TopicsExpress

As a Vetran who did little. I would like to thank the greatest generation of Americans who took out Axis powers in Europe and Asia who sports athleates paused their careers for being in the war. WWII Vetrans you do not get the praise and true respect that you earned and deserve. Vietnam Vetrans you served this country bravely and honorable but you had Jane Fonda, Torture, and the scrutiny of when you came home people disrespected and called you horrible names that nobody ever deserves. To the Gulf War Veterans, You came, saw, and conquered. You now have a disease that VA is not trying to help with just like the Vietnam Vetrans had to go through with nasty chemicals like agent orange. To the OEF, OIF, and other Vetrans who are coming home missing limbs, have PTSD, and other horrible things done to you by cowards who would rather dig up dirt and place and set off an IED or ride mopeds just far enough to set it off or fire RPGS tryingto duck and hide than face the Greatest sevices in the world. I just dont like companys and businesss making money off Vetrans day sales or offering free food so Vetrans can come their and eat when we have a serious problem with homeless Vetrans and none of those places would let them enter those establishments would even let them in on any other day of the year. Dont get me wrong I appreciate the kindness for Veterans on November 11th. But we owe the Veterans more that stormed Normandy, or fought hard and won a viscous battle of Okinawa. They deserve more than a free meal on one day of the year, or the hellish conditions of Vietnam with Jane Fonda helping the enemy, or the four wars that are going jon since Bush the elder was Commander and Chef in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and trying to stop more training camps in Africa and other Middle East countries that take a blind eye to terrorists that are given safed refuge. I appreciate November 11th and what some establishments do to honor the Veterans but just one day of the year. These great Americans deserve more than that. Those Men and Women deserve something more than a parade and some free food. They should be telling stories or being respected for being the greatest, bravest, and the heroes they truly deserve. Not just one day but 365 1/4 days a year. I would like to thank the Men and Woman who did every thing they did for our country from speaking Japanese or German (nothing wrong with those languages), The Heroic efforts of the Vietnam Veterans who never received the truly received a thank-you when they came home, And the brave men who sent the Iraqi troops back to Saddam, or the courages men and woman who continually go on tour after tour to You-PICKASTAN. I would like to say THANK-YOU, TO THE MEN AND WOMAN WHO DID NOT COME HOME, TO THE MEN AND WOMAN SERVING NOW THANK-YOU, AND MY THE THREE BROTHERS SEVING NOW THANK-YOU AND I LOVE AND RESPECT THE THE SACRIFICE YOU ARE DOING FOR MY FREEDOMS THAT MAKE ME FEEL LIKE THE HOME OF THE FREE AND HOME OF THE BRAVE. (I apologize for spelling andgrammar mistakes)
