As a child born of the Jubilee Marriage I think the only way the Jubilee government will be able to survive the 20 years they keep talking about is if they go the Russian Putin and Medvedev way of swapping positions.Ours should be after every five years.2017 should be Ruto for President and Uhuru for Deputy President,and then 2022 Uhuru back for President and Ruto Deputy President,like that.This way we will ; 1.Be able to build real trust that will see us work without suspicions,schemes or what not. 2.We will be able to put to rest through deeds and not words this issue of whether our brothers and sisters from the other side can return a political favor . 3.We will be able to put to an end any suspicions that may be there in either camp of who is doing what in preparation for what. 4.We will be able to put all the concentration on development because the political aspect of the equation will have been handled/removed. 5.This will strengthen the Coalition and the individual parties. As Jubilee children we want to see the marriage of our parents last the longest.And unfortunately this is the only way to test a political marriage. Lets face it the President and his Deputy have the best working and personal relationship.But unfortunately they dont hold all the cards.In order to ensure that all the other cards wherever they may be are placed on the Table this political arrangement is necessary.Long live Jubilee!Long live UhuRuto!
