As a creative I have spent a lot of time (and money) using Adobe apps - such as Photoshop, Illustrator, to name a couple....one of my main goals is to find alternatives to those two especially....Thus far, PIxelmator is really a nice competitive application that runs amazingly well on my iPad and syncs beautifully with the Mac version. As for a Vector tool for Mac - thats still left to be decided....Im not certain what would be a good one - Im open to suggestions..My primary reason for leaving Adobe is the subscription model isnt my favorite - I still have a CS3 license that I plan to use indefinitely....for photo imaging and cateloging I use Apple Aperture and video production, I use Apple FCPX for editing and delivery and often I use Blackmagic Designs Davinci Resolve for color grading.
