As a drag queen I very rarely speak of this but being Pagan informs so much of my life. From a basic awareness of the seasons to trying to be a good person. Terry Pratchett summed it up when he described it as Emptying whats full and filling whats empty. For some its all about spells and casting and that can be a part of it but for me its about doing right by people, living life respectful of others and helping out when needed, whether its a kind word when needed, a listening ear, a good deed or trying to entertain people so that they forget their own problems for a few moments. Many years ago I met the most wonderful group of pagan people and an amazing friend (who has since passed) who taught me a lot about the craft, about friendship and about living life. The lesson I passed on to him was being a pagan is something I AM not something I do... at the end of the day its that simple! Ostara Blessings!
