As a further update in response to the recent rumours concerning the charity funds raised by Modelscotland and the certainty that Modelscotland is a legalised and registered company; Modelscotland is a legal, registered company itself and any pageants we have ever held have also been registered and are all legal. We always ensure that all of our events are staffed with reliable people and any staff that have worked for or are working for Modelscotland have underwent the appropriate back ground checks, any person who does not meet the required criteria has NOT been hired. Modelscotland can assure that the ALL funds raised at any of our charity events is always gifted to a number of different charities. Money raised at these events is split evenly between the charities for the sake of fairness. We at Modelscotland have written evidence from all of the charities we have donated to in the past year, which in total has been over £6000. After further investigation into these rumours, Police Scotland has now been contacted and they are now investigating further into the matter themselves. Lawyers at Turnbull McCarron, Glasgow, have also been contacted and will be pursing these matters further. Anyone involved will be prosecuted and sued. The individual responsible for the start of these rumours has NEVER been an employed member of the Modelscotland staff. She has not been present in the office when the donations have been made and has never been contracted to the company. We would like to offer apologies to anyone who has been distressed by these false accusations and reassure that we are available to contact for any further information.
