As a horse owner and as a professional in the horse world, let me just say that it is not our job to train your horse while theyre being worked on. Whether it be the farrier, the vet, the equine therapist etc -we work with horses all the time that are sore, scared and uncomfortable and we have patience and understanding of the situation BUT if your 10 yr old gelding cannot stand still due to lack of respect and training, please do not blame us. Our personal safety should not be at risk because youve spent more time teaching them tricks rather than how to behave appropriately when being worked on.
