As a journalist we cover many different stories and meet many different people. But every now and then you get to tell that really great story that stays with you. Thats how I feel about the Wilkiinsburg Football team - and how they overcame adversity. Some of the players were homeless, all exposed to gun violence in some way or another. They had only 16 guys on the team, and with injuries they played with only 13 guys. But theyve shown so much heart. Last night Steelers Will Allen hosted an end of the season banquet for them. He brought along his friends William Gay and Baron Batch The players have never had anything like this before. I was so honored and humbled to be a part of it.
